                 Gyratory 150mm Mold Bore Measurement

Measure the bore of your Superpave Gyratory Compactor (SGC) 150mm Diameter Molds with the accuracy and precision of a three point bore gage. These gages include the extension needed to easily reach the full depth of the mold. Both gage styles require a 150mm master ring.

Mitutoyo 150mm Bore Gage

The AFGM01 Mitutoyo Bore Gage utilizes a three point contact system in conjunction with a digital micrometer head. Use the AFGM03 150mm Master Ring to preset the gage to 150 mm, retract the contact probes, insert the gage into the mold, turn the micrometer knob until the knob clicks, then read the diameter directly on the digital readout. The AFGM01 includes an extension to provide an easy reach to the base of SGC molds and can be set to read in either millimeter or inch units.

True-Bore 150mm Bore Gage

The AFGM02 True-Bore Gage utilizes a three point contact system in conjunction with a lever handle engagement system. Use the AFGM03 150mm Master Ring to preset the gage to 150mm, squeeze the handle to retract the spring loaded probes, insert the gage into the mold, release the lever to engage the probes then read the diameter directly on the digital readout. The AFGM02 also includes with an extension to provide an easy reach to the base of SGC molds and can be set to read in either millimeter or inch units.

150mm Master Ring

The AFGM03 150mm Master Ring is used to set both the AFGM01 and AFGM02 bore gages for precise traceable bore measurement. The certified Class Z ring is used to preset the digital readout of either bore gage to 150.00mm, which permits the bore diameter to be read accurately without conversion. The AFGM03 also includes two 50mm tall spacers to provide repeatable measurement position within the mold bore.
